Does Americans Thinks They Are Prepared For An Economic Depression

When asked about how ready the government is to, in a poll depression, deal with an economic depression compared to their finances.

Democrats (73 percent ) and Independents (64 percent ) are more Opinions on this issue seem to be subject to partisanship.

Some economists indicate that the end of a pandemic-induced downturn warns that a depression-like crisis may be arriving, particularly with the number of Americans filing for unemployment increasing to 1.43 million in the last week of July.

If a melancholy should happen to occur at the moment, almost half of Americans (49%) say they feel personally prepared to shoulder a single.

But a large share of Americans–40% –say they are not ready to deal with an economic downturn.
